IMPAC3T-IP Academy™ Online Train-the-Trainer: Transversal Tools

Unlike the three scenario-specific toolsets, the transversal tools cut across Classical Plus, Crisis and Co-creation, supporting licensing professionals in whichever scenario they are working in.

This session brings the Software Tool Recommender AI and Lucidhub together because both sit in trainees’ hands at a similar point in their journey: the Software Tool Recommender AI helps professionals identify the right advanced software to support a licensing activity, and Lucidhub is where the resulting research and technologies actually get discovered, searched and licensed by companies and universities.

Trainers will learn how to use both tools and their accompanying training resources (presentation slides, case studies and exercises) to design and deliver their own ‘Learning Outcomes-based’ virtual and in-person training to small groups of trainees — and, for Lucidhub specifically, to guide research organisations through listing their assets on the platform, since most need guidance (see the certified Lucidhub trainer track below).

Participants will ideally have attended an IMPAC3T-IP Transversal Tools ‘user’ workshop and have some exposure to different training environments (virtual and in-person).

Train-the-Trainer Learning Outcomes

• To have a strong overview of the transversal digital toolset, including the Software Tool Recommender AI and Lucidhub, and how each tool can be translated into training materials and sessions.
• To be confident in expanding the core agenda into longer, more interactive sessions using group exercises and case studies.
• To appreciate the skills that a trainer will need to demonstrate to design and lead a strong training workshop to ensure adult learning and retention.
• To be certified as a Lucidhub trainer, able to train others to list, describe and manage their technologies on Lucidhub, from account setup to writing listings that buyers actually find.
